Top 10 Most Iconic Sports Moments of the late 90s and early 2000s

Moments 10 - 6

Moments 5 - 1

This site is meant as a means to count down the most iconic moments from the perspective of a Seattle sports fan born in the year 2003. A quick disclaimer, I did not witness any of these moments live and had to relive them through nostalgia fueled sports clips sites. Sports give us an avenue to become more than oneself, to relive glory days and to join with others in the collective thrill of victory and agony of defeat.

"We're all told at some point in time that we can no longer play the children's game, we just don't know when that's gonna be.

Some of us are told at eighteen, some of us are told at forty, but we're all told"

 -Moneyball

Following sports for me provided an avenue back into the simplistic world of childhood, a means to recapture the beauty of a simple game pushed to its limits. I am certain that others pour their hearts into these games for an incredibly similar reason. A reason that transcends generations. Because of this I wanted to attempt recreating a turn of the century personal website focused on iconic sports moments that I was never there to experience. Due to the nature of the software I am using I wanted to focus on the world of sports at a time in which this technology would have been used. In short, here I hope you enjoy this countdown of iconic sports moments.
